An American Success Story

Bingham Industries is a family owned, family operated precision manufacturing firm based in Seattle, Washington & Panama City, Panama. The Bingham family has been involved in precision manufacturing in the Seattle, Washington area for over 30 years. Known as one of the worlds leading precision manufacturing areas, Seattle provided the Bingham family with a strong background in all areas of steel, aluminum and plastics manufacturing.

The Birth of Bingham Mfg.

In 1991, Gary Bingham left his position as foreman at a very successful aerospace manufactruing firm in Seattle to open and operate Bingham Mfg. in his mothers garage, while also raising a family as a single parent. With a lot of hard work, Gary's strong manufacturing background and the help of his family, he was able to run a stable business dedicated to manufacturing a wide variety of products for the general public including aerospace parts & photography equipment pieces.

In 1992, Gary relocated Bingham Mfg. to a small warehouse on his property and added several more pieces of manual machining equipment. At this same time, he began manufacturing a number of spare parts for the UHP waterjetting pump market. His first line of products were used as replacements for Flow & Jetedge intensifier pumps. He also began working as a supplier to Phillips Waterjetting, who at the time was a major industry distributor.

Through the 1990's, Bingham Mfg. would expand drastically enough to outgrow several buildings, through increasing it's product line, customer base and it's stable of precision manufacturing equipment, which would include numerous CNC Lathes, CNC Milling Machines, hones, grinders, heat-treating ovens, a laser engraving system and much more.

An Explosion of Growth

In the early 2000's, Bingham Mfg would relocate to Mill Creek & Monroe, Washington and continue to growth at very healthy rates, during a period where precision manufacturing in the U.S. was dying. The continued ideal of providing a good product at a fair price made Bingham Mfg. a strong name in waterjet & general manufacturing. During this time period, Jeremy Bingham returned from college while studying business administration and took over as President of Bingham Mfg. It was during this time period that the Bingham family decided to relocate the manufacturing facility to an area of the world where they could remain competitive with their manufacturing rates and also continue to provide the ultra quality components they had become known for. After spending 2 years conducting research in a number of US cities and countries around the world, Bingham Mfg. would change it's name to Bingham Industries and opened a sales & production facility in Panama City, Panama in the 3rd quarter of 2008.

We are the Future of Precision Manufacturing

The future will bring many things exciting things for Bingham Industries which we are happy to embrace. The opening of our branch in Panama City allows the company to accomplish many things. We will be able to remain competitive with Asian manufacturing prices, while providing a product that is far superior in quality. Products producted in Panama will still be handled on a daily basis by the Bingham family, as well as a gifted group of Panamanians that are dedicated craftsmen. All Panamanian staff have received excpetional training in their fields and all hold university degrees. Our location in a country known for its shipping distribution network will allow us to manufacture and deliver goods around the world at a fraction of standard pricing. Our sales force and location in the US will still continue to serve it's core customer base as well as grow to include more customers and diverse product lines.

We look forward to working with your company and sharing with you the next chapter in our american success story.
